Title: Senior Analyst, Portfolio Management

The purpose of the role is:

  • Accountable for day to day facilitation and management of the Client Operations enhancements process, an $8MM per annum portfolio of change.
  • Accountable for monitoring and controlling the Client Operations initiatives portfolio ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, on budget and benefits are delivered
  • Responsible to ensure that our Projects are fit for purpose at all times for our business, clients and regulators
  • Contribute to I&TS strategy and goals by assisting to delivery relevant projects
  • Responsible for all aspects of portfolio planning, which include research and analysis, business cases, communication content and documentation that help drive sustainable growth and market positioning

What will you do?

  • Leads facilitation and management for the global Client Operations enhancements process
  • Monitors and maintains approvals and budgets for Client Operations applications
  • Continually identifies process and system improvements to support the enhancement process
  • Management of the enhancement intake process and prioritization of in-flight cases in partnership with Technology and Business Sponsors
  • Reporting on overall enhancement portfolio status, financials and delivery progression to senior executives
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Sponsors and T&O to ensure portfolio reporting is completed on a timely basis and with the required level of quality
  • Create and implement tools to simplify and improve Portfolio Management as well as recommend opportunities to deliver increased process efficiency to gather accurate, timely, and relevant program/project information
  • Escalation and reporting of Client Operations global portfolio health to and the identification & management of paths to resolution

Experience Required:

  • Postgraduate degree (Finance discipline preferred)
  • Experience of working in global financial services organization with detailed knowledge of global financial markets
  • Detailed knowledge of European financial markets essential
  • Advanced MS Office literacy required (Visio and Access skills will be a plus)
  • Experience working with a workflow solution tool (PEGA preferably)
  • In Depth knowledge of Custody and the Fund Industry Business
  • Fluent French as an additional language an advantage but not essential 
  • Project Management – Knowledge of Project Management tools to ensure that deadlines and budget requirement are successfully and efficiently met
  • Process Management and Analysis skills.
