Head of TA Cash Payments & Reconciliations

This role is located within the Transfer Agency Department and it is to manage the Ireland Cash Payments & Reconciliations Team within the department.  Oversee the effective operation of the team focusing on risk control, change management and adherence to local and group requirements and regulations.

The ideal candidate ;

This is a client facing position that requires a technically strong, bright and ambitious individual who has a proven history of building valuable relationships and leading teams within a busy operational environment. You will ideally have a strong background within Funds sector (essential) with experience of leading an operational team.


  • Manage high profile client relationships from an Investor Services perspective by engaging with the AFS Clients and developing relationships with them
  • Management and oversight of the Investor Services Cash Processing & Reconciliations team to ensure their work is of the highest quality standards. Ensure that the team operates efficiently, adheres to procedures, ISAE 3402 requirements and HFS best practice and policy
  • Understand the Cash flow model, and drive strategic and regulatory change timely and accurately, in partnership with Group peers.  Participate in project calls and distribute clear dashboards on key milestones achieved / challenges
  • Ensure project work assigned is completed timely, accurately and within budget, using departmental template and ensuring relevant Departmental documents are updated to ensure “current”
  • Carry out daily cash flow monitoring oversight in adherence with the Departments procedures
  • Sponsor a programme of continuous improvement to mitigate risks, eliminate inefficiencies and/or improve client experiences and in order to support the build out of capacity and scale within the team
  • Key member of the department management team, charged with progressing a variety of initiatives
  • Consider / develop options to enhance /re-engineer /streamline process flows – considering A.I. as a solution
  • Support and drive new product enhancements, develop best practice and support the build out of capacity and scale within the organization

Experience Required :

  • 8-10 years experience in Fund Administration with at least 4 years in a management capacity
  • Must have experience working in Investor Services / Shareholder Services or Transfer agency departments
  • Experience of a variety of fund types – e.g.  Mutual, Offshore, Irish domiciled, Limited Partnership, Private Equity
  • Proficiency in MS office
  • In-depth knowledge of Transfer Agency life-cycle, including AML
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills
