Responsibilities Include:
• Delivery of an annual business plan to maximise sales opportunities and grow the personal lines book of business
• Ensure that processes, structures and staffing are operating effectively to deliver excellent personal lines service through the various sales channels
• Manage and motivate a team of Personal Lines Account Handlers and support staff to ensure a high-performance culture
• Regular reporting to senior management on business performance and KPIs and addressing any shortfalls
• Identify revenue generating opportunities and implement regular sales and marketing campaigns
• Market and promote the personal line’s brand with clients, external business partners, and insurers to build a strong company profile in the marketplace
• Stay abreast of personal lines products/rates and general competitor activity in the marketplace and react accordingly
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, Central Bank codes, and O’Leary Insurances standard procedures and business ethics

Skills & Qualities Required:
• Minimum of 8-10 years general insurance experience with the last 3-5 at the manager level in a fast-paced financial services sales/customer service environment
• Previous experience of people and operations management to deliver optimum sales and customer service levels
• Excellent knowledge of personal insurances products and markets
• Previous experience of running traditional and social media sales and marketing campaigns, building a brand in the marketplace, and website development
• Knowledge of general insurance compliance and regulatory requirements
• Third level qualification and have completed the CIP or be “grandfathered”
• Previous experience of Relay software would be an advantage
