Compliance Officer – Immediate Start – 6 month contract

  • Provides independent oversight of regulatory and compliance risks and controls as they relate to laws, regulations and regulatory expectations which govern the activities of the offices in Ireland.
  • Supports the Head of Compliance, Ireland with the implementation and maintenance of an effective, integrated, proactive and risk-based program for the management of regulatory, compliance and reputational risk for the company business platforms in Ireland.
  • Accountable for the quality and consistency of compliance performance under all relevant governing laws, regulations, directives, standards and guidelines in relation to the company businesses
  • Supports the Head of Compliance, Ireland with implementing a compliance strategy for the company Ireland and be responsible for assessing and managing the inherent compliance risk, including being accountable for:
    • Instilling with the businesses the central role they play as the First Line of Defence, promote strong compliance culture to ensure that company complies with its regulatory obligations and ethical standards;
    • Providing value added advice and guidance to the various businesses within the company Ireland to embed ownership for Compliance Risk within the business;
    • Supporting and enable business objectives by ensuring relevant businesses are equipped to meet regulatory requirements, including by identifying, assessing, tracking, where possible influencing and preparing for new developments and ensuring the implementation of Global Compliance priorities for the the company enterprise in respect of the company Ireland;
    • Maintaining constructive and strong working relationships with all relevant banking, securities and other regulators that impact the company businesses;

Providing necessary information and effective collaboration with the Compliance Monitoring & Oversight Team supporting an efficient execution of the compliance monitoring programs and oversight activities;


  • Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and preferable legal, economic or other relevant advanced degree
  • Proven experience in the Investor & Treasury services industry and in compliance monitoring/internal audit
  • A minimum of three years experience in a Compliance role
  • In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to Compliance and AML
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant products and operations
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands
