Client Onboarding Manager

The role

The Client Onboarding Manager  is responsible for the co-ordination of standard onboarding  activity for any or all business lines and includes launch, migration out  closure, new service implementation, new counterparty implementation, restructure etc.  The Client Onboarding Manager will  gather requirements from client and counterparties, liaising with all internal stakeholders to ensure onboarding activity is completed in agreed timeline with proper governance.  The Client Onboarding Manager will lead the onboarding activity including planning, coordination of execution, managing client and internal stakeholders.


  • Manage & coordinate onboarding activity for new and existing clients. Provide post onboarding activity  support for any internal or client queries
  • Coordinate security set ups where required for asset transfers
  • Work to agreed timeline & manage client and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery
  • Operate within the organization’ global operating model and within the defined risk framework
  • Ensure all required artefacts are completed to a high standard
  • Update asset transfer status on a weekly basis and ensure updates are completed to a high standard
  • Execute requests from Client Change & Onboarding management team to support global standardization and implementation of global operating model
  • Support sales process by presenting approach to client onboarding process & evidencing experience in this area.  Provide SME knowledge to the business teams on specific local applications as required and scheduled  with BAU workload for Client Change & Onboarding

Experience required :

  • 5-7 years Funds industry experience
  • Knowledge of Administration and Custody services & products
  • Primary degree or equivalent experience
  • Certification in project management framework
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office
  • Change management experience
